Shots:
- Ascendis Pharma has entered into a binding term sheet with BioMarin for a global settlement & license agreement covering Yuviwel (navepegritide) & related products, resolving ongoing litigation & disputes between the companies
- As per the deal, BioMarin will grant Ascendis a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-bearing license to research, develop, manufacture & commercialize navepegritide-related products without restriction. BioMarin will also waive certain regulatory rights & exclusivities & provide a covenant not to sue
- In return, Ascendis will dismiss its proceedings against BioMarin & pay royalties on net sales of navepegritide-related products (20% in the US & 18% in the EU, South Korea & Brazil) from the first commercial sale in each country through May 20, 2030
