- Insilico Medicine and SK Biopharmaceuticals entered a research and development collaboration to discover AI-enabled therapies for neuroimmune disorders of the central nervous system (CNS), including neuroinflammatory, neurodegenerative, and rare neurological diseases
- Under the agreement, Insilico will utilize its proprietary Pharma.AI platform, covering target validation, generative chemistry, and molecule optimization, alongside its preclinical drug discovery expertise. SK Biopharmaceuticals will lead late-stage development and commercialization of the resulting programs leveraging its CNS development and commercialization capabilities
- Financially, Insilico is eligible to receive up to $18M in upfront and near-term milestone payments, while the total potential deal value exceeds $2.5B, including development, regulatory, and commercial milestones, as well as single-digit royalties on net sales. The collaboration represents Insilico’s largest potential deal value secured with an APAC partner to date
