Merck Reports the P-IIb (MK-7240-012) Trial Data on Tulisokibart in Hidradenitis Suppurativa

  • Merck has presented the P-IIb (MK-7240-012) study data assessing tulisokibart vs PBO in pts with moderate to severe hidradenitis suppurativa at EADV’26
  • Trial met its 1EP, with HiSCR50 at Wk. 16 achieved by 72% pts on high-dose tulisokibart (480mg, Q2W) & 64% on medium-dose (480mg, Q4W), representing a 37% & 29% improvement over PBO (35%). In an exploratory analysis, low-dose treatment (240mg, Q4W) achieved a 52% response rate, a 17% improvement over PBO 
  • In non-ranked key 2EPs, HiSCR75 was achieved by 41% of high-dose, 40% of medium-dose & 29% of low-dose pts vs 15% at 16wks. DLQI also improved with high and medium-dose treatment (−5.62 for high dose & −3.5 for medium-dose vs −2.46), while low-dose showed no improvement
