Tolerance Bio Licenses Efineptakin Alfa from NeoImmuneTech to Advance Thymic Function and Immune Resilience Programs

  • Tolerance Bio entered into an exclusive license agreement with NeoImmuneTech for the development and commercialization of efineptakin alfa (NT-I7), for certain thymus-related indications in the Americas and Europe. The company also plans to initiate P-II studies evaluating the therapy for enhancement of thymic function
  • Under the agreement, Tolerance Bio will advance efineptakin alfa alongside its existing thymus-focused pipeline, including biologic drugs, thymus-targeting mRNA, and thymus cell therapies. NeoImmuneTech is eligible for potential development and sales milestone payments of up to $260M, plus equity consideration and tiered royalties on net sales
  • Efineptakin alfa has been evaluated in more than 800 subjects across 15 clinical studies, generating safety, tolerability, pharmacologic, and clinical data supporting further development
