Shots:
- GE HealthCare entered into a definitive agreement to acquire SOFIE Biosciences from Trilantic North America for $945M in cash, with the transaction expected to close in 1H’27, subject to regulatory approvals and other closing conditions. If completed, SOFIE will become part of GE HealthCare’s PDx segment
- The acquisition will establish GE HealthCare’s footprint in the US “final mile” of PET radiopharmaceutical supply, adding SOFIE’s 15 CMO sites and 21 cyclotrons and expanding access to F18-labelled PET radiopharmaceuticals, including GE HealthCare’s Flyrcado (flurpiridaz F18 injection)
