Astellas Reports First Patient Dosing in P-III Study of Setidegrasib in Previously Treated KRAS G12D-Mutated NSCLC
Shots:
- Astellas has dosed the first patient in a P-III study assessing setidegrasib vs docetaxel in ~356 pts with KRAS G12D-mutated locally advanced (unresectable) or metastatic NSCLC who progressed on or after initial Pt-based CT & checkpoint inhibitor therapy
- The P-III study in previously treated NSCLC builds on P-I data published in The NEJM in Mar 2026, which showed antitumor activity & a manageable safety profile in KRAS G12D-mutated solid tumors. Plus, translational analyses from the P-I PDAC study will be presented at AACR’2026
- Setidegrasib is a targeted protein degrader designed to degrade & eliminate the disease-driving KRAS G12D protein, potentially disrupting cancer cell signaling & promoting cancer cell death
