D&D Pharmatech Reports P-II Trial Results on Zabopegdutide for Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatohepatitis (MASH)

- D&D Pharmatech has reported the topline P-II (DD01-DN-02) trial data assessing zabopegdutide (DD01) vs PBO in 67 overweight/obese pts with MASH & significant liver fat across the US, which met its all 3 key histological EPs
- Pts received a 2wk. 20mg titration followed by maintenance dosing of DD01 (40mg, QW) or PBO; the Wk. 48 per-protocol population incl. 35 pts with biopsy-confirmed MASH & F1–F3 fibrosis who completed paired liver biopsies with high treatment adherence
- At Wk. 48, trial achieved fibrosis improvement (≥1 stage) without MASH worsening (50% vs 15.8%), MASH resolution without fibrosis worsening (62.5% vs 5.3%), & both improvement & resolution (37.5% vs 5.3%), alongside reductions in liver fat, stiffness, & fibrosis biomarker; data were presented at EASL’26
