Indica Labs Collaborated with iCAIRD to Develop AI-Based Algorithm for the Detection of Lymph Node Status in Colon Cancer

Shots:

  • Based on the agreement, both companies will develop an AI-based digital pathology solution to improve the efficiency of detecting metastatic cancer in lymph nodes from colorectal cancer cases
  • The development process will include anonymized H&E slides from NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde’s digital pathology archive to train, validate & test the algorithm being developed. Indica’s HALO AI & HALO AP will also be used for the development of digital pathology solutions
  • The AI-based digital pathology solution will be integrated with the potential to detect the presence (+ve) or the absence (-ve) of the lymph node from which the +ve lymph node will be categorized into metastases, micro-metastases & individual tumor cells
