Medtronic Reports Three Months Results of DTM Spinal Cord Stimulation Endurance Therapy for the Treatment of Chronic Pain

- The company reported the results from an on-label study of DTM spinal cord stimulation endurance therapy in patients with chronic pain. Patients will have additional follow-up assessments after 6 & 12mos.
- The therapy showed an improvement in pain relief as measured by reduction in overall pain on VAS along with a reduction in back & leg pain, 69% of patients improved to a less disabled category as measured by the ODI, 63% showed minimal or moderate disability compared to 16% at baseline @3mos., 75% of patients were satisfied
- The therapy provides additional QoL & functional benefits & allows long-lasting recharge-free performance on Vanta and 5 min. recharge on Intellis neurostimulators
