• Medtronic launches a new insulin infusion set that can be worn for up to 7days. The infusion set is compatible with all MiniMed 600 and 700 series insulin pumps
• The extended infusion set utilizes advanced materials that help in reducing insulin preservative loss and maintains its flow & stability. The new tubing connector improves physical & chemical stability of insulin- reliability of infusion site performance- and reduction in the risk of infusion set occlusion
• The product is now available in Finland and Belgium and will follow other EU countries in 2021. Additionally- Medtronic extended reservoir is also approved to keep insulin stable and safely used for up to 7days
