• The collaboration is built on Gendius’ diabetes management platform- Intellin- which has 200-000+ downloads worldwide. With the partnership- AstraZeneca allows HCPs across the Gulf region to use Gendius’ Intellin to augment diabetes management for reducing the incidence of complications
• The partnership is being implemented within the framework of AstraZeneca’s Emerging Markets Health Innovation Hubs initiative to bring digital- R&D and commercial industries within emerging countries for improving patients’ outcomes. Intellin is compatible with 150+ apps and connected health devices- ranging from Fitbit and Garmin devices- to more specialist blood glucose monitors and blood pressure cuffs
• As a result of collaboration- HealthGATE platform and app to support diabetic patient care in the GCC- will be launched later this year. The HealthGATE app will work as a gateway between HCPs and patients- enabling collaboration for personalized care and the use of AI for better disease management
