Verily (Alphabet's Division) Holds its Smart Lens Project

- Glucose-Detecting Contact Lens was being developed to monitor the glucose levels in tears with help of sensors present in contact lens- which can further help to manage glucose level in blood
- In 2014- Verily collaborated with Alcon (Novartis Division) for the development of contact lens and has also received $800M from Singapore investor Temasek in 2017
