- Approval was based on SELF-CERV study, which showed Teal Wand detected cervical precancer 96% of the time, with 94% participants preferring at-home screening test if it was as accurate & 86% wanted to be updated with screening if an at-home option is available
- The Teal Wand allows people to collect vaginal samples for cervical cancer screening at home or in clinics, integrated with telehealth services for kit prescription, lab result review, & ongoing medical support
