Shots:

• Sanofi to create a standalone company which will combine its API commercial and development activities with six of its API’s production sites in Italy- Germany- UK- France and Hungary
• The new entity will be headquartered in France- operate with at least 3-100 skilled employees with the expected sales of ~$1.08B by 2022. Sanofi plans to list it on Euronext Paris by 2022
• Sanofi only holds 30% of the new company and plans to establish a long-term relationship with API suppliers. The new company would supply API to millions of patients in the EU & beyond and will cut reliance on Asian sourcing for API
