About the Speaker:
Punit H. Marathe, Ph.D, VP, DPMK, Agios Pharmaceuticals
Punit Marathe is currently working as a Vice President, DMPK, Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology at Agios Pharmaceuticals. She joined University of Washington, Department of Pharmaceutics as an affiliate professor in 2020. Punit spent a year as an Executive Director in Syngene International, responsible for building integrated drug discovery capabilities in the US and India. A large part of her career, she was at Bristol-Myers Squibb, most recently as the head of Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics Department. Dr. Marathe has extensive experience in multiple areas of Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics including drug discovery, lead optimization, preclinical and clinical pharmacokinetic studies leading to product registration and life-cycle management. Punit’s span of responsibilities has included characterizing ADME profile of lead candidates, establishing PK-PD relationships in animal disease models; projecting human pharmacokinetic profile and efficacious doses, guiding selection of doses for FIH studies, characterizing human ADME profile and understanding drug-drug interactions liabilities. Barry Feigelman, Sr. Director – Discovery Science, North America Eurofins Advinus
Barry is currently working as a Senior Director – Discovery Science, North America, where is leading business development activities related to Discovery Services and Bioanalytical services across North America. Barry is an accomplished business development manager with over twenty years of experience working with CROs offering services and products in the preclinical drug discovery and development sector. His area of expertise includes but not limited to early discovery & development stage chemistry services, as well as wide range of biology services including in vitro & in vivo ADME tox/PK studies and bioanalytical services. He joined Eurofin Advinus from Concept Life Science (a UK based CRO) before Concept LS he worked with organizations such as Comparative biosciences, Laxai Life Sciences, Toxikon, Comgenex International.
