• Sanofi signs a business transfer agreement with Zentiva to sell its manufacturing facility in Ankleshwar- India. In H1’19- Zentiva enhanced its network with the acquisition of Solacium in Romania and Creo in the UK
• The focus of the acquisition is to expand Zentiva’s manufacturing footprint across the globe and help it to achieve operational excellence- enhance productivity and accelerate growth by ensuring the supply of medicinal therapies for the people living in the EU and beyond
• Sanofi’s Ankleshwar manufacturing facility was established in 1987 having chemistry & biotechnology development center- manufacturers both intermediates and pharmaceutical formulations including tablets
