Shots:

• Zydus has initiated an accelerated research program with multiple teams in India and the EU to develop a vaccine against coronavirus- 2019-nCoV (COVID-19) based on two approaches
• The two approaches include the development of DNA vaccine by Zydus’ VTC and a live attenuated recombinant measles virus vectored vaccine by Zydus’ Etna Biotech to combat COVID
• Zydus’ manufacturing facilities for producing recombinant antigens and measles-containing vaccines will enable rapid ramping up of the production for both vaccine candidates- once the proof-of-concept is established
