RIVANNA launches a Global FIH Trial for its Accuro XV Musculoskeletal Imaging System

- RIVANNA has initiated the global FIH research project utilizing the Accuro XV musculoskeletal imaging system, following its $30.5M funding agreement with BARDA, carried out in 2023
- This study (n=200) aims to assess safety, compatibility with ED workflows, and capability to produce automated diagnostic ultrasound images using Accuro XV. Also, aims to enhance emergency departments by quickly detecting soft tissue injuries and enabling accurate treatment and timely patient discharge
- This project has received full or partial federal funds from the Department of Health and Human Services, ASPR & the BARDA, under contract number 75A50121C00035
